Lori Greiner

Lori Greiner was born Lori Husman. She is an American television personality and businesswoman who appears as a Shark in the ABC reality-based business show Shark Tank. She began to be interested in making custom jewelry while in college, continuing to make and market them until she came upon the idea of creating an earrings organizer and then showing it to the women on the streets to observe their reaction. She patented her product, after which she began selling it on the internet and off. Her business continued to expand with new products. Her work has produced and launched over 1,000 profitable product lines and is the holder of 120 US and International patents. She has sharp instincts, an innate sense of the commercial savvy and instantly know if a particular product will become a hit or a failure. The result is 90% of success for her company. She is a strong believer that "if you're fortunate enough to have a chance then it's your obligation to help others". This is why she gives to numerous charity organizations every year.
