Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28, 1967) is an American performer and actress. Wuhrer has been an actor and singer since she was a teenager. She has three siblings. As a child She sang in clubs and went out to perform. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School from 13 years old she studied drama in the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Additionally, she studied in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the famed Uta Hagen. She was born April 28 the 28th of April, 1967 in Brookfield Connecticut. Her mother works as a payroll accountant and her father, a German-American, is a policeman and car salesman. Kari was born into a family with four children. As teenager, she was a performer in clubs, going away from home. Kari, who was then thirteen years old, was enrolled at the Wooster School as well as Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She took drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with a drama teacher who was known for her work as Uta. Kari began her journey into acting at 13, and she got her first big break in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
