Lisa Edelstein is an American actor, most famous for her role on House, a Fox medical show, House. Growing up with Jewish conservatives in Wayne, New York City was the place she went to pursue her studies in theater at Tisch. However, very quickly she was involved in the city's club scene and made enough noise to be recognized by the media, while also becoming aware of the devastation of AIDS. She eventually used her experience as well as her celebrity to write and compose the musical called Positive Me which she starred. Awake In the Wild Side was her next job. Once the program was over the actress went on to work in movies and TV productions. She started with small parts and established herself gradually as an actor.
