Julia Fiona Roberts, born on October 28, 1967, in Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Julia Fiona Roberts is the fourth generation Roberts that resided in Atlanta. Her father's passion for theatre was inherited by her. in theatre from an early time. As a student of Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. While stationed in Biloxi Mississippi, he was inducted into the Air Force in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was also in the production. The couple got married in the year 1955. Their first son, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after leaving the Airforce in 1957. Walter worked with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family moved into Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou produced a Saturday matinee local TV show for kids known as Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. It was a venture that they funded themselves. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou founded the Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted about six years. The couple had another two children, Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also called Lisa) and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also also known by the name Julie).
