A native of Morocco, Sofia Pernas moved to California when she was 5 years old. She grew up in Orange County. She received her graduation at the University of California, San Diego in the year 2015, which was the same year she got her first big break as an actor. Pernas started her acting career by playing minor roles on NCIS as well as Leverage. The Young and the Restless offered Pernas the role Marisa. After leaving soap opera in 2016, the actress landed an appearance in Jane the Virgin as Catalina. The model, who can speak four languages has since appeared in The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. On Blood & Treasure, from 2019 until 2020 she portrayed Lexi Vaziri. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas was dating her ex- The Young and the Restless costar Justin Hartley. This is Us' star Pernas started dating Justin Hartley shortly after she split with Chrishell Stause. she was engaged to since November of the year 2019. In May 2021, news was reported that Pernas Hartley has recently tied the knot in private.
