Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and songwriter. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs in the One Direction band. The father of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on January 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where as well as three of his classmates, he founded his own band called White Eskimo. Their outstanding performances allowed them to beat the Battle of Bands 2009. He was always interested in music, but also wanted to pursue a career as an attorney, physiotherapist or even a scout. He worked for a time part-time in a bakery within his town to help people financially in the home. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he sang Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. That's why his group was split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a new band, One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to form the band in 2010. They performed tracks such as My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the potential winners to win the award. However, they finished third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell made a deal worth 2 million pounds with One Direction in order for them to join Syco Records.
