Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd July 1971. LeAnn Kymes and Krauss, were among the youngest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss - born on July 23, 1971, is a popular American bluegrass and country vocalist. She was a teenager when she first entered the music scene, having won local contests as early as 10 years old, and recorded her debut album at 14 years. She was signed in 1985 with Rounder Records. Her first solo album debuted in 1987. The group she joined was whom she performs, Alison Krauss Union Station. They released their first album in 1989.
